WorldCC Foundation and the Responsible Contracting Project unite to advance responsible contracting globally

The WorldCC Foundation is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Responsible Contracting Project (RCP). This partnership marks a key step in our shared ambition to drive better outcomes for people and the planet through contracts that embed shared responsibility.

Bringing together two globally respected, mission-driven organisations, the collaboration reflects a joint belief that contracts are not just legal instruments but tools to foster collaboration, mutual accountability, and responsible business relationships.

Through this partnership, the WorldCC Foundation and RCP aim to accelerate the adoption of responsible contracting practices that integrate human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), ensuring obligations are balanced, actionable, and jointly upheld by all parties.

Sally Guyer, CEO & President of the WorldCC Foundation, said:
“Responsible contracting is essential to building sustainable, resilient, and trustworthy business relationships. This partnership with RCP strengthens our ability to support organisations in embedding human rights and environmental due diligence directly into contracts. Together, we’re helping transform contracting from a one-sided obligation into a collaborative tool for positive global change.”
